In a fundraising e-mail to Democratic supporters, Pelosi said that the Democratic agenda is moving the country forward and the Democrats toward victory this fall.

“Republicans are in full-blown ‘spin mode’ attacking the president and claiming he has lost support,” she wrote. “But that is just hype and hyperbole. You and I know better — together we are moving America forward.” (emphasis mine)

Oh really?  I suppose she hasn’t been watching the most recent Rasmussen poll.  The President’s ratings are down, as are the polling numbers of many Democrat’s facing re-election this year.

This reminds me of mid-December comments made by the speaker:

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) has privately told her politically vulnerable Democratic members that they will not vote on controversial bills in 2010 unless the Senate acts first.

Hey Nancy, if you are not worried and all this is “hype and hyperbole” then why the drawback in the House?  Of course anyone with any sense knows why; as the agenda of this administration goes from the blank slate (Obama’s words) to concrete action the country is  concerned and those concerns translate in to votes.

The Dems thought “Teddy’s seat” in Massachusetts was a shoe-in, suddenly it has become the early 2010 election anyone interested in politics or the course of this nation is watching.  Even the wasted air space on MSNBC is seeing the writing on the wall…  Oh yes they are very worried about Scott Brown.

As only this brand of Democrats seem able to do, Chicago thug politics rears its ugly head as a conservative newsreporter attempts to question  Martha Coakley after the debate with Scott Brown.  Why is it I see a continuing pattern of violence coming from the Democrats?  (this will be a future post)

And how does Scott Brown answer the “Teddy’s seat” quip in the debate?

And he is spot on.. the seat belongs to the  People !

Pelosi and the Democrat party refused to acknowledge the 9-12 March on DC where at least 1.5 million people took to the streets, they can ignore the rising tide of patriots in the country.. ignore it all.. but this I will promise, you have awoken a sleeping giant and WE-THE-PEOPLE are mad as hell and not taking it anymore !

Congressional Black Caucus calls “racism”

Posted by courage On September - 16 - 2009

During the House hearing for Representative Joe Wilson, the Congressional Black Caucus suggested:

“…that a failure to rebuke the South Carolina Republican would be tantamount to supporting the most blatant form of organized racism in American history.”

For disagreeing with Presidential policy?  Okay, granted there is a level of decorum when the President addresses joint sessions of Congress.  The respect offered is meant to show the highest esteem for the office of the Presidency.  So yes, I agree that according to Jeffersonian Rules which cover decorum afforded the President, Representative Wilson was wrong, yet can I remind the Left since they seem to have some short-term memory issues… Congressman Wilson apologized directly to the President before the end of the evening and that the President accepted his apology.  This should be the end of the story.. but NOOOOOO…

912 DC Rally Attendance … UPDATED @ END… WOW !

Posted by courage On September - 16 - 2009

There is dispute as to how many Patriots attended the March on Washington, 9-12-09.  Ranges can be found on the net from 60,000 to over a million.

In 1995, the National Park Service quit estimating crowds for events.  I guess Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam had some disagreements when the Park Service estimated only 400,000 in attendance for the Million Man March.

So here we are today, with the mainstream media purposefully underestimating and minimizing the event.  Plus we have Senior Adviser axelbutt Axelrod stating on Sunday:

“I don’t think it’s indicative of the nation’s mood,” Axelrod said on CBS’ “Face the Nation.” “You know, I don’t think we ought to be distracted by that. My message to them is, they’re wrong.”

Latest Rasmussen Poll on Health Care

Obama had a short-term positive bump in polling numbers following his “you lie” speech last week.  Today polls have fallen back to pre-lie speech levels, with 52% of all voters nationwide opposing the plan.

Can I now say… YOU BOTH LIE !

Ahh, it’s one of those “inconvenient truth” moments, because I have read the entire bill.  This would probably shock my unRepresentative Visclosky, since he has publicly stated he only reads the “pertinent parts.”  How he knows which sections to read is beyond me, I’m thinking he takes he cues from moveon thugs and seiu goons, which he seems awful cozy with.

So  an official number by the National Park Service seems out of the question.  Scouring the net for clues to attendance numbers, I found something I found interesting:

White House: “Unaware of Rally” 912 DC

Posted by courage On September - 15 - 2009

After resizing some of the many pictures that were taken at the Tax Payers March on Washington, I thought you might enjoy getting a feel for the day.

Take a moment and read the signs, notice the common theme.  This protest was about how government is expanding at an alarming rate, how the deficit is ballooning out of sight and how average citizens  feel  their voices are not being heard by elected officials.

All contrary to what Obama, Pelosi, Reid and the rest of the squatters in Washington have been stating throughout the summer, with their rhetoric of imagined racism, delusional claims of protesters being unAmerican and continued insults to the American patriots psyche.  Time for them to wake-up…

These are the faces of AMERICANS !

WOW… just WOW… 912 DC

Posted by courage On September - 12 - 2009

Amazing ! What you ask?  The entire day.  Here are just a couple of observations, heck I need to process the entire day before I start to write about it, I’m sure you understand.

The day started out early, organizers pushed back the start time from 10:00am to 11:00.  Participants were to march to the Capital according to their state residency. We headed out the door, taking the Hotel shuttle to the Metro; the District of Columbia’s light rail line.  Our Metro station, Van Dorn, is second from the end of the line, the platform was filled with Patriots headed to the rally.  Patiently we waited…  our surprise was when the next train pulled in to the station, it was already filled to capacity.  The station platform broke in to a spontaneous applaud, resigning ourselves to wait for the next train and elated with joy with what we hoped would be a large number day.

We The People Are Here ! 912 DC

Posted by courage On September - 12 - 2009

Chater bus Official reports have stated that 450 charter buses have filed for permission to entire the Capital area for the 9-12 project.  That’s a lot of buses and a whole lot more people.

Yesterday we wandered around the District of Columbia and everywhere we went were signs of Patriots.  On the Metro traveling in to D.C. we met Patriots from  across this great country who have descended upon D.C., on each path,  at each street corner you either saw visible signs of Patriots or overheard conversations about today’s march and excitement to be part of this historic event.  We have been told that every charter bus in the state of Ohio has been booked and is here.  Can you imagine the  sacrifice, passion and love of country each individual who will be present today has made to be  here?

There is excitement in the air, anticipation of something bigger than each of us alone, coming together with common purpose.  Yesterday I can not count the number of times I heard some variation of “I have never done anything like this in my entire life.”  YES, the sleeping giant has been awakened.

We The People Are Here !

Embracing the American Voice 912 DC

Posted by courage On September - 11 - 2009

912 ProjectThere are moments in life when circumstances dictate action.  We each determine when the underlying catalysis of a situation compels us toward movement.

For us this trip, participating in the 9-12 project is one such moment.  Our deep-seated concern, centers on a gut level feeling that the Republic is being swiftly and purposefully moved toward a socialist/ fascist model. An unsettled sense of freedom being threatened propelled us from being average, perhaps complacent, citizens to finding a voice determined to be heard.
