Do You Believe the Lies You’ve Been Told on GLOBAL WARMING?

Posted by courage On October - 17 - 2009

I started to present the pseudoscience surrounding climate change in this post:

Obama, Science and False Conclusions

While there may be some which still believe the fault based assumptions surrounding climate change, the TRUTH is that the science is being  skewed by researchers who have ulterior motives. In order for science to reach a minimal standard of validity it must be replicated through numerous studies, typically by independent researchers.

The problem in this debate is   an entire industry has developed which includes journalists, scientists and  governments; all which gain will gain monetarily from the climate change caravan.  Journalists have created careers in reporting  the catastrophic consequences of this pseudoscience.  Scientists who depend on  research grants to fund their studies, twist their research to support the assumption  academia champions.  And governments are looking to fuel coffers with tax dollars which can be made on the ponzi scam of  “environmental justice.”  The United Nations is intimately involved by way of the 1997 Kyoto Protocol.  On December 7-18, 2009 an estimated 12,000 to 15,000 delegates from around the world will descend on Copenhagen for the “Conference of the Parties,”  otherwise knows as COPS.  An interesting acronym since that is exactly what they will do during this conference.. attempting to police the world, especially those pesky developed countries such as the United States.  The theme for the conference is HOPE, I kid you not.  See here.

The “hope” for the United Nations delegates  is to bamboozle persuade industrial nations to sign a treaty which will institute extensive caps on C02 emissions, assist developing countries by way of money to develop their own “green” economies and  allow the United Nations control over any and all goverance and potential alterations of the treaty.  Now, this may not concern you.. you may think, “what’s the big deal?”  Watch this clip and tell me if doen’t make you a wee bit concerned…

Unions Pushing Their Agenda

Posted by courage On October - 17 - 2009

H/T to One Nerve Left: Coming to a home near you… SEIU

One Nerve lays out how providers of home health care for loved ones are being forced in to join a union, read her article at the link above.  First Illinois, will Indiana follow suit?  Who knows but those that believe unions have the best interest of members at heart are sadly mistaken.  Unions have become big business; they exchange manufactured products which traditional business markets for a sliver of the rank and files toil or would that be soul?  Unions have long since quit negotiating for their members, their sole concern is the percentage of dues they can extort from each members pay monthly.  Just look at these home health care providers and see what the pay-out is to the unions.

What would the unions get for this new responsibility if the 3,000 families voted to be represented?

“They’d get 2 percent of whatever the state sends us,” Harris said. “And if I chose not to be a member, I’d still have to pay my ‘fair share.’ “

House Bill 3200.. Broken Down

Posted by courage On October - 13 - 2009

Yes I admit it, I have read the entire  1,000 page plus of House Bill 3200.  What made me decide to embark on this tedious and mind-numbing adventure?  Perhaps it was the challenge or perhaps it was because far to many elected officials have neglected their duty as representatives.  I’m sure no one has forgotten the negligence they displayed in failing to read the Stimulus Bill.

To add me in this endeavor, I used a meta-analysis method as I read through the bill.  See others, from individuals to organizations had already read the bill and were offering their analysis of its contents.  I found myself wondering if what they interpreted as to the meaning of the bill would coincide with what I was reading.  So I cross-referenced as I read House 3200 and surprisingly I found myself agreeing with most of the analysis as to meaning.  The italics in parts of my analysis are from the thoughts I had while reading the bill.  Here is what I found broken down…

Lets Say 20% of DR.’s Retire Early…

Posted by courage On October - 13 - 2009

Lets work with these numbers:  We will start with 20 million, roughly half the number the White House states are the uninsured in the country, are suddenly infused into the health care system, what happens?  Here’s the scenario: long waits to see a doctor,  then even longer waits for medical testing, once tested treatment is delayed because of the high volume for the limited resources, does this make sense?  Now lets say that 20% of the current physicians chose to retire early because of the mandatory government regulations which control their very career, from House Bill 3200:

EMPTY SUIT OBAMA wins Noble Peace Prize

Posted by courage On October - 9 - 2009

Quick post before work.. more to come later..

I want one individual to explain to me, why Obama was given the Noble Peace Prize?

Name one thing he has accomplished which warrants him being given this prize?

According to FOX News:

Obama Wins Noble Peace Prize

OSLO — President Barack Obama won the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize on Friday for “his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples,” the Norwegian Nobel Committee said, citing his outreach to the Muslim world and attempts to curb nuclear proliferation.

Excuse me?  You have to be kidding me?  Outreach?  I call it placating American sovereignty.

Only very rarely has a person to the same extent as Obama captured the world’s attention and given its people hope for a better future,” the committee said. “His diplomacy is founded in the concept that those who are to lead the world must do so on the basis of values and attitudes that are shared by the majority of the world’s population.

Attitudes and values of the world?  Like the hatred of the United States Freedom and Liberty.. that is what the apology tour of Europe turned in to whenever he spoke about this country.. we were wrong.. we were wrong.. Give me a break.. this guy has never held the United States up as a beacon of liberty and freedom.

Obama has as president created a new climate in international politics. Multilateral diplomacy has regained a central position, with emphasis on the role that the United Nations and other international institutions can play,” the committee said.

Ahh and here we get to the fundamental truth.. the avocation of United States sovereignty to forces that DO NOT respect our freedom, liberty or Constitution.  Okay open thread.. what are your thoughts…

Hate Crimes Bill

Posted by courage On October - 9 - 2009

capitol_hillUnder cover of a $680 billion Defense bill, the House yesterday passed expanded “Hate Crime” legislation.  Unable to pass this bill as stand-alone legislation, the Democrats, tacked the “Hate Crime” bill on to unrelated legislation.  This maneuver is becoming commonplace and circumvents potential laws from being evaluated on their own merit. (As an aside, watch for a Health Care “Reform” bill to be rammed through in this manner.)

I am against Hate Crime legislation.  Some that know me may be surprised at this.  The basis for my opposition is not centered on hate or some fear driven philosophy, which appears the railing cry for the GOP, rather I suggest common sense.  Have you ever known a friend to violently attack you?  I would venture to say that most would answer NO, to this question.  Those that answer YES should evaluate the choices they make in life.

Congress Gives Itself More $

Posted by courage On October - 3 - 2009

Did you know that Congress has issued itself a new stipend raise?  Probably not, much slips under the radar with Congress and the White House throwing new crises daily at the American public.

As Americans are struggling to find work and making cuts in household budgets, Congress believes it needs more money to run their offices.  But hey, its only a 5.8% increase in the legislative office budgets, that is $4.7 billion annually .. I’m sure you received a nifty 5.8% raise last year to help you make household expenses?  Right?  Oh wait .. Are you one of the 15.1 million currently unemployed?

As unemployment inches toward 10%, numbers which “sobered” the White House, the Congresscritters are giving themselves a nice raise in their legislative branch operational budget.

From the Washington Examiner:

Among the goodies, according to Politico, is a $500,000 “pilot program” for senators to mail postcards to constituents about town hall meetings.

Do you really think that Senators need any money to encourage people to attend town hall meetings? Last I looked the town hall meetings during the summer were very well attended, much to the frustration of most elected officials.  In many instances the Congresscritters, didn’t really appreciate We-The-People asking them questions about things that will affect OUR lives, not theirs.   Because well, they wouldn’t be affected by health care reform, conveniently they excuse themselves from the equation.  Plus Congress has that perk of with the Office of the Attending Physician at their beckon call.  You do know about that don’t you?  Read about it here. For a mere $503 a year, every Congressional Representative has, well.. let me quote the article…

Transparency or the Joke is on the American Public

Posted by courage On October - 3 - 2009

Someone PLEASE explain how our duly elected officials, who by the way make much more than the average citizen, especially with million dollar “stipends” to cover their Congressional office budgets, cannot find the time to read bills before they vote on them?

Each year at the start of the Congressional session, these same officials are sworn in to office..

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.
